I love finding that unique shot and recording the interesting places I have visited. I also love to share the photos. I believe I have had access to a camera since 5th or 6th grade and been taking pictures ever since. Back in the day of film, picking up the developed pictures was exciting. More often than not, the pictures were ok but not over the top. When the digital era arrived that was a game changer for me in the amount of photos I could take and the immediate feedback the screen gave me. Usually one or two pictures out of many had the possibility of being a great photo.

Nature has an infinite variety of details and scenes to share with us and I enjoy looking for them and capturing the best way I know how. Currently I use my Iphone 13 Pro camera and the family Cannon Rebel. Both cameras have their advantages and limitations but I find having two types is advantageous in many situations.

My favorite part of photography is exploring old and new landscapes looking for the variety of details that Nature provides and sharing them with people to enjoy and learn.

Over the years I have been inspired by John Fielder’s photography, adventures and his passion to preserve the outdoors. I will always strive to find the adventure, create unique photographs and champion the outdoors like John.
